Ministries for Your Children
Early Childhood (birth through age five)
We have dedicated many resources to ensure the safety and spiritual growth of every child at Albany First Assembly. All children are supervised and taught by a trained staff of volunteers.
Locations
Ministry to children is available during all regularly-scheduled services and Sunday classes in The Clubhouse, a separate building located immediately north of the Sanctuary Foyer. Baby Clubhouse is for children from birth up to age two, and is located in the southeast corner of the ground floor of The Clubhouse. Children ages two through five (not yet in kindergarten) meet in the other ground floor rooms, for Clubhouse Jr.
Check In
When you bring your child(ren) to The Clubhouse for the first time, you will be asked to complete a form with the "basic" information about you and your child. Please also communicate any special care needs to the child care workers. You may then check in your child. Your child will be assigned a number and you will then receive a silent pager with the same number. Only approved workers and children of the correct age will be allowed in a room.
Alert
If you are needed at any time during a service or class anywhere on the church campus, you will be alerted by the silent pager. Each pager is pre-set to "vibrate" mode. When alerted, please come immediately to The Clubhouse.
Pick Up
To pick up your child, simply return to the Clubhouse counter with the pager. Our volunteer will acquaint you with our secure check-out system. Only authorized adults are allowed to pick up children. Please do not send young siblings or friends to pick up your child.

Clubhouse Live! Kids Church (K through fifth grade)
Clubhouse Live!, a special church service for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, is held during each Sunday morning service, both at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. upstairs in The Clubhouse. When dropping off your child(ren), please accompany them to The Clubhouse. Children will not be released until picked up by a parent or responsible adult.
